Kia ora, I am a student at St Francis of Assisi Catholic School. Welcome to my blog. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas. Please note that some work shared on here may be my first draft, and may not be edited, so there may be some surface errors.

Collaboration Post
Firstly, I think I can collaborate well in a pair, sharing my ideas with other individuals, but an individual that I know I can trust. Collaborating in a small group, I try to make my ideas heard and also give everyone a turn sharing their own. As with a big group, this may be when I can struggle to truly collaborate with people in a large group, because sometimes you can be ignored or excluded in your group of friends, classmates, or sometimes at the dinner table with your family.
I think my collaboration skills truly shine in pairs. I find it so much easier with someone else rather than a whole group of students. I still need to work on sharing my whole concepts, not just the bad parts. Sometimes I want to cling to a really good idea and keep it as my own, but that's being selfish, so I need to learn to continue sharing ideas confidently and openly. I definitely feel included when working in this hub, the teachers do a good job of making sure everyone is happy and doing a reasonable amount of work.
I think the standard of collaboration could be higher in our hub. Although some people do really well and try really hard to work together good, some people are letting the hub down. I hope that these people can learn from themselves and others to get better.
How well do think you collaborate? Have you ever had a difficult situation to collaborate in? Tell me below!

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Encourage me to make another post
