Peer Mediation - Part 2

Peer Mediation is a great opportunity to interact with younger students at Saint Francis. Although our year 5/6 hub may not be so communal with our work, the new entrants up to the year 4 are typically cooperative with our work. It feels good knowing that you are helping the school out by performing you duty well.

Recently, during my time on Peer Mediation, I have noticed how kids are getting really good at including everyone. It is so good to see when 5-year-old students invite children who they can see are sad or lonely into their own games! I try and remember to always to do my best at role-modelling for younger pupils and will sometimes try starting up games which they can continue themselves.

How do you feel when you see people playing and/or working together? Leave an answer below!
