For PBL this term, we are conducting a Science experiment. As you may know, the first parts of the Scientific Method are the question, background research, and hypothesis. My question this term is "What ratio of sugar to corn syrup results in the fluffiest marshmallows?". I've been researching into why marshmallows are fluffy, and I've found it's because when you mix the sugar/corn syrup concoction with the gelatin you want air to mix in with the mixture to make the marshmallow less dense. Doing a Science Project this term is very beneficial because it's the term that we can base all our learning around it.
Have you ever done a Science Project/Science Fair? If so, what did you make your project on? Leave a comment below!
