Here is a self-drawn artwork of my reflection. Have you ever participated in the next level of cross-country? Was your experience similar? Tell me below!
Kia ora, I am a student at St Francis of Assisi Catholic School. Welcome to my blog. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas. Please note that some work shared on here may be my first draft, and may not be edited, so there may be some surface errors.

Cross Country
Hi blog viewers! Today I will be talking about my experience at Cross-Country Centrals; in a word, muddy! With rain from past weeks wetting the track, the grass trail quickly became a bog in dense areas and turns, with hundreds of footprints indistinguishable from another. After a short journey in the school van, our small party set foot onto Halswell Quarry for most of the day. With a 100 minute wait until my due race, I was reasonably unoccupied for most of our time there. The gun setting off a stampede, most of the first hundred metres were deadlocked, with less than a foot next to someone. Unluckily, as my shoe was reasonably loose, as soon as I encountered the first bend, the sneaker was lost in the panic of the race. This meant I had to run the entire race with one shoe! I am not yet sure what place I came, as the results have not been uploaded. This is my last blog for the term, so I'll see you all in a few weeks!
